Cheesy Vegetable lollipop | How to make vegetable lollipop

Step 1


  • Cooking oil – 2 tbsp
  • Onion – 1 cup (finely chopped)
  • Green chilli -2 to 3 nos (finely chopped)
  • Salt- as needed
  • Ginger paste – 1 tbsp
  • Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2tsp
  • Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Mushroom – 1 cup (finely chopped)
  • Coriander leaves – ½ cup (finely chopped)
  • Potato – 1 cup (boiled)


In a heated pan add oil. Once the oil is hot add onion, green chilly, ginger and garlic paste and saute till light brown by adding little salt. Now add chilly, turmeric. Black pepper and garam masala powders, saute till fragrant. Add mushroom and saute till it is cooked and becomes dry. Now add coriander leaves and potato, Add salt as needed, mash and mix well.

Step 2


  • All purpose flour – 1 cup
  • Mozzarella cheese – 1 cup (grated/ small cubes)
  • Bread crumbs – 1 cup
  • Milk  – ½ cup
  • Cooking oil for deep frying


Prepare small lemon sized balls. Stuff it with cheese. First roll it in maida (all purpose flour), then in milk (can do egg wash also) and in bread crumbs. Fry it in oil over medium to low flame till brown. Use toothpick for making it like lollipop shape.Tasty and crispy cheese balls are ready –  enjoy with sauce ..
