Sweet potato mushroom cutlet
Step 1
Ingredients
- Cooking oil – 2 tbsp
- Onion – 1 cup (finely chopped)
- Green chilli -2 to 3 nos (finely chopped)
- Salt- as needed
- Ginger paste – 1 tbsp
- Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
- Garam Masala powder – 1/2 tsp
- Mushroom – 1 cup (finely chopped)
- Coriander leaves – ½ cup (finely chopped)
- Sweet potato – 1 cup (boiled)
Preparation
In a heated pan add oil and once the oil is hot, add onion, green chilly, ginger and garlic paste and saute till light brown by adding little salt. Now add chilly, turmeric, black pepper and garam masala powders, saute till fragrant. Add mushroom and saute till it is cooked and becomes dry. Now add coriander leaves and sweet potato, Add salt as needed, mash and mix well.

Ingredients
- All purpose flour – 1 cup
- Mozzarella cheese – 1 cup (grated/ small cubes)
- Bread crumbs – 1 cup
- Milk – ½ cup
- Cooking oil for deep frying
Preparation
Take a big lemon sized cutlet mix. Shape the cutlet as per your design. First roll it in maida (all purpose flour), then in milk (egg wash also be done) and in bread crumbs. Fry it in oil over medium to low flame till brown. Tasty and crispy cutlet is ready – enjoy with sauce ..
