Parippu vada | Dal vada | How to make Split peas snack | Masala vada
Ingredients
- Mutter dal ( vada parippu ) – 1 cup
- Chana dal – 1/2 cup
- Toor dal- 1/3 cup
- Dry chilli – 3 tbsp, chopped
- Green chilli – 2 nos chopped
- Shallots – 3 tbsp chopped
- Ginger – 1 tbsp chopped
- Curry leaves – chopped
Preparation
Mix all dals and soak for 2 hours.Drain it and keep 6 tbsp of soaked dal aside.Coarse grind rest of the dal without adding water. Add salt as per taste, dried red chilli, green chilli, shallots, ginger, curry leaves and the 6 tbsp of dal which we kept aside. Mix well. Take big lemon sized mix and prepare small disks with edges thinner than center. Deep fry over low flame till brown. Enjoy the crispy vada….with a hot cup of tea.
